MAYNILAD Water is upgrading its pipe network in Manila as part of its continuous effort to improve service, resulting in a temporary water supply interruption in some areas starting from 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, until 9 a.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2008.
The service improvement project involves the replacement of a 750-mm gate valve along C.M. Recto corner Legarda, Manila.
This will result in water service interruption in portions of Sampaloc, Sta. Cruz and Quiapo area bounded by Lacson, España, Lerma, Andalucia, Bambang, Rizal Ave., Pasig River, Nepomuceno, and Legarda.
Maynilad is advising residents in these areas to store water good for the duration of the water service interruption. They may also call Maynilad Water Hotline 1626.
